Don’t Bug Your Friends and Family Ever Again!

Wednesday, June 30th, 2010

When you get into an MLM company, they always tell you to start your business with trying to sell your friends and family on your opportunity.  But that really doesn’t set well with you.  You just don’t feel right about that.  And for good reason.

First of all, your friends and family didn’t come to you interested in your opportunity, so they are not ready to “be sold.”  Secondly, they may not even have the skills or desire to become an MLM distributor or network marketer.  Trying to sell them on your opportunity will only turn them off, and maybe even make them start avoiding you.

Here’s a little secret your upline doesn’t want you to know, because they don’t believe it themselves:  You should almost never approach people to try to sell your opportunity, whether they are friends and family or strangers on the street.

Then how do you ever get business, you might ask?  The most effective way to sell anything is to get people who want to buy to come to you.  Imagine that for a moment.  Doesn’t that sound a lot easier?  Doesn’t that take an enormous amount of pressure off your shoulders?  If you do this, you will get more business, not less.

But how do you do this?  It is called “attraction marketing.”  And if you don’t practice attraction marketing, you will probably be in the 97% of network marketers who fail.  Don’t be in that statistic!  You can succeed!  But you need to learn how to become a “magnet” that draws people to you.  Either click on the ad on this page about attraction marketing, or better yet, sign up to get my free email information that will take you through the whole process of how to be successful in network marketing.

Unemployment Causes Fear

Monday, June 28th, 2010

If you or your spouse is unemployed, you know exactly the fear I am talking about.  Unemployment checks just don’t cover all the bases, the job market is full of low-paying jobs you are over-qualified for, and the jobs that would pay what you need to survive have so many applicants, you don’t stand a chance.

If you are still employed, your fear is that your job may be next.

At a time like this, starting your own business may seem very attractive, but you fear you may not be able to be successful at it.  The fear of failure will cripple your efforts, if you let it.

There are three keys to having a successful business:

  • Finding the business that is right for you;
  • Getting the training that you need to succeed in that business;
  • Working hard doing everything you can to make your business successful.

If you don’t know where to go to find the right business, or if you have found it but need the training to make it successful, fill in the form at the right today so that I can start sending you more information right away.  Then you can be on the road to your own successful business, and you won’t have to fear unemployment anymore.

What Works Better for You, Big Goals or Small Goals?

Friday, June 25th, 2010

I read a blog the other day by Kim Klaver that quoted a story about two women who found they work better making small goals instead of big goals.  So I thought I would talk about your goals.

You read the hype:  “You can make $10K a month!”  “Make a six figure income every year!”  You get excited and start making plans on how you will spend the money when it starts rolling in . . . maybe get out of debt; buy a nice car or two, or maybe that antique car for sale you have your eye on; buy a nice big home; buy a boat; have money to invest; put your kids through college; or whatever you dream about.

Then you start your business and wait for the money to start coming in.  You wait . . . and wait . . . and it just isn’t happening the way you were led to believe.  Then you get discouraged and feel like giving up, until the next time you get inspired by some more hype.

If this sounds like you, maybe you should set your sights lower.  For instance, the ladies mentioned in the blog I read set their goals very low – just enough extra money to buy some things themselves without having to account to anyone.  Maybe your goal could be to have enough extra money for music or dance lessons for the kids.  Or maybe enough to pay more on one bill.  Or maybe to buy groceries.

When you set your goal at a more reachable level, it takes the pressure off and makes reaching it more do-able.  Then you can feel more positive about your business and what you are accomplishing.

And by the way, the two women mentioned in the blog went from their small goals to becoming multi-millionaires!  So settling for a small goal to begin with does not sabotage your business by keeping it small; it can actually help you grow it big eventually.  Having too big a goal can be what sabotages it.

For more information right away on growing your business, sign up now, and I will be able to give you step-by-step instructions on how to make the kind of money you want, whether your goals are large or small.

Oil Spill Is Good for the Gulf Coast Economy!?

Wednesday, June 23rd, 2010

According to a blogger at NBC news, BP is saying the the oil spill is a good thing because it is stimulating the economy of the Gulf Coast by bringing business to the hotels, restaurants, and such from all the people coming to help with the oil spill cleanup!  Sounds a little far-fetched to me, considering all the people they have put out of business!  And besides, what does this have to do with MLM network marketing, you might ask?

Well, actually, not a lot, but we can draw a parallel here.  Businesses are going under and people are losing their livelihoods.  But if you want to look for a bright side, some businesses are thriving as a result.  The same is true of network marketing.

On the one hand, there are people who get into network marketing with high hopes, and they end up not making any money at all, or very little – not enough to break even.  Then they can get discouraged and claim that network marketing doesn’t work and MLM is a scam.  Never mind all the people on the other hand who are making six and seven figure incomes every year in MLM!  They probably know some insider secrets that they will NEVER share with the little guy!

Well, folks, I am here to share those secrets with the little guy, ’cause I have found out that some of the big guys really are willing to share their secrets!  But if you aren’t interested in learning their secrets and then working hard to join them – because it IS work – then just ignore my blog site and go about your business your way.

But if you ARE interested, stay tuned for more tips from me, and sign up so that I can send you information on how you can get started now to learn the secrets of how to make it big in MLM network marketing.
