I want to talk today about autoresponders.  Until a few months ago, I had never heard of an autoresponder, and had no clue what it was.  You may be in the same boat.

An autoresponder is a pre-written email (usually a set of pre-written emails) that get sent out on a regular basis to your new contacts.  You can specify how often they are sent out, and even vary the time between each so that they seem more random, or so that your contacts can have time to digest more difficult information.

So Where Do I Get These Autoresponders?

There are several companies that will host the autoresponders for you.  When you sign up, you can get training right there in their website.  Or if you go through a main company that sets up your capture page and gives you training, they will likely have training on this, as well.

If you go through a the company I deal with, they even have the autoresponder messages per-written for you.  All you have to do is load them up in the autoresponder you choose, and they are ready to go.  As you get more knowledgeable and comfortable with your business, you may want to go in and edit them to more suit your personality and experiences.  And eventually you may want to write your own.

The autoresponders from the company I deal with take you through a free training program, and have links to take you into the website for more free training, until you are ready to get more in-depth training through the program itself.  When you are ready, you can then sign up for the meatier training that they provide.  Signing into the program gets you access to all kinds of training for many aspects of becoming successful in your business, as well as access to lots of different affiliate programs that you can sign up for (many for FREE) to help start building your residual income (more about that in another blog).

There are a lot of good business opportunities out there to choose from.  You know you want to start a business.  But which business should you choose?  Where do you even start looking for a business to choose?

A capture page is a web page that you create (or you can have one already created that you just customize), that tells a little bit about an educational program that will help your potential customers learn how to have a successful network marketing business.  Or it can be about your business that you decide to get into, if you are ready for that step.  It then will “capture” their name and email address, if they choose to opt in.  This will give you the list you need to start building, and then you will start sending them emails regularly to start training them on having a successful business!

Well, guess what, folks?  You never stop learning!  And when one’s appetite gets whetted, one doesn’t want to stop learning!  Learning new things can be exciting and fulfilling, not to mention good exercise for your brain.

But you may disagree.  Maybe you had a bad time in school, or maybe you were just glad to be out because that was everyone’s attitude.  Sure, you have to learn things once in awhile, but to deliberately choose to study and learn more things?  Not if you can help it!
